BIR exists to support religious minorities that are persecuted on account of their faith, particularly Christians and converts.

Who we are

BIR (German abbreviation for Consulting Resources on Integration and Religious Concerns) exists to support religious minorities that are persecuted on account of their faith, particularly Christians and converts.

We are an experienced team of integration workers and some of us have firsthand experience in migration.

We are part of the working group for religious freedom (AGR in German), which is part of the Swiss Evangelical Alliance (SEA).

What we do

We offer consulting resources to churches and those walking alongside refugees.

We support and walk alongside refugees.

We assess threat situations asylum seekers face and support their re-integration back in their countries of origin.

Our Services

We offer group coaching for volunteers who are walking alongside migrants and refugees.

We offer awareness-raising courses on the topic of refugees and asylum seekers.

We are a reporting centre for incidents of discrimination, threats, intimidation or physical attacks on religious grounds.
